Friends,
I have made an important decision in my life. I decided to
establish residency in Buenos Aires. There are many reasons for
making this decision but my most compelling reason is to pursue my
tango journey in the city where Tango is danced with the heart.
Of course, I will continue traveling to Europe, Asia, and the States to
give the TangoZen workshops. However, at the end of each trip, I
shall return to Buenos Aires.
What does it mean to you? If you have hesitated to visit Buenos Aires
to enjoy dancing Tango, no need to anymore. You may have heard
from friends that coming to Buenos Aires for tango can be a frustrating
experience. The locals treat the visitor like a "tourist."
Visiting Buenos Aires will become easier than you think. When it
comes to dancing tango, for example, I can arrange private lessons,
educate you on the culture and etiquette of the milongas. I will
personally accompany you to milongas to make sure you dance with
porteños and porteñas. Unlike other tango tours, I
will make sure everything is tailored to your needs, particularly with
the dances at the milongas.
My goal is to offer a personalized tango tour in Buenos Aires tailored
to your skill level, your challenges and your interests. You pick
the dates for your trip to Buenos Aires. You will stay in a rental
apartment so you can live like a local rather than a tourist. You
decide daily agenda from a menu choice of privates, afternoon and
evening milongas and teachers. In addition, I will assist you
shopping for shoes, clothes, CD’s, books, etc. I can also arrange local
travels within Argentina, if desired.
