Come to experience and help other
experience Tango Zen, an innovative yet natural way of meditating while
dancing and walking.
The Teacher
Training Program provides you with a
foundation in the technical skills you need to become a TangoZen
teacher and gives you the tools you need to build a rewarding practice
as a walking meditation teacher.
In this program participants will learn a number of exercises adapted
from martial arts, meditation techniques, sports, and tango that lead
you naturally into mindfulness. Practicing these exercises over time
will increase one focus, balance, connection, centering, grounding, and
weight-shifting skills. Participants will learn to help others:
- Enhance self-awareness
- Experience holistic connection with partner,
group, and surroundings
- Acquire walking meditation skills
- Learn basic tango dance techniques.

Class Schedule:
Thursday, April 13
Class 1: TangoZen I, "Body moves, mind flows."
Introducing basic concept of Zen meditation, breathing and posture,
warming up for exercises, being mindful of oneself, and connecting with
one's partner and music.
Class 2: Tango I from a meditative perspective:
Approach to tango from a meditative perspective. Focus on
centering, weight-shifting, and walking in close embrace.
Milonga – Open

Friday,
April 14
Class 3: TangoZen II: "TangoZen mind, beginner's
mind"
Focus on refining movements by revisiting well-known tango movements
and mindfulness, which was established in TangoZen I.
Class 4: Tango II from a meditative perspective:
Adding complexity to your tango by diversifying the well-known
movements.
Sunday, April 16
Introduction to Group Walking Meditation.
Practice to be followed
by discussion and Q&A. Business aspects of walking meditation
including promotion and marketing will be also presented.
Monday, April 17
Learning to guide private, pair and group meditation sessions.
Each participant will be practicing to guide walking meditation with
other participants. Private coaching will also be given to those who
might need to finish their training.

TANGOZEN WORKSHOP - DENMARK APRIL 2006

NO DANCE PARTNER NEEDED
Instructors: Chan and
Eugenia
Park
They are known for their authentic and elegant style of Argentine
tango, and travels around the world to teach Tango and TangoZen.
Chan has a background in music, mind/body medicine and Oriental
philosophy, all of which he has combined to create a unique style
of teaching and dancing Tango.
