What is Tango Zen?

Tango Zen combines Zen meditation principles with Tango dancing. Tango Zen is meditation in motion and, if practiced properly, may enable Tango dancers and non-dancers alike to meditate and experience Zen moments while dancing Tango. In Tango Zen classes, we enjoy the joy of dancing. It is open to anyone who has the desire to experience the tango in its original form. Beginner dancers, who with curiosity open up to a dance experience. Experienced tango dancers, who would like to explore the simplicity of the dance and deepen their experience. Tango is demonstrated in its original form, focusing on oneness, individuality, and intimacy rather than complicated figures.
