The Third Wave of Social Tango

 

We are initiating what we call the Third Wave of Social Tango —

a movement to preserve and promote the essence of traditional tango and guide it into the future.

 

The first wave was born in the milongas of Buenos Aires.

The second wave spread tango across the world.

 

But today, something essential is at risk of being forgotten.

 

The Third Wave returns to what makes tango meaningful:

 

• The embrace

• Silent listening

• Emotional truth

• Pleasure without performance

• Shared energy

• Tango as a social dance of pleasure — and an inward journey of awareness

 

At its heart, the vision is:

Tango for Humanity — a dance that guides us to rediscover what it means to be human.
