Registration Information

Milonga Europa will take place from 12–14 March 2027 in the Prichsenstadt area, near Würzburg, Germany.

Participation is by personal invitation only and is limited to approximately 40 dancers.

Invited participants are asked to complete the registration form below. The form will collect practical information such as accommodation preference, arrival and departure plans, local transportation needs, meal choices, and dietary requirements.

Submitting the registration form does not automatically confirm your place. After reviewing your registration, the organizers will send confirmation, payment instructions, and detailed information about accommodation, meals, transportation, and communication arrangements.

Invitation Policy

Milonga Europa is a private, invitation-only event.

Priority will be given to dancers personally invited by the organizers, Tango Zen workshop participants, and tango friends who share an appreciation for traditional Buenos Aires tango culture.

If you have not received a personal invitation but feel connected to the spirit of Milonga Europa, you may contact us to express your interest. Please understand that this does not guarantee participation. Because the event is small, any additional invitations will depend on space, balance, and suitability for the atmosphere of the gathering.

In some cases, we may ask for a short video of your social dancing or other information to better understand your tango experience.

Participation Fee

Participation fee: €175 per person

The participation fee includes:

• all scheduled milongas during the weekend

• music and DJ program

• use of the ballroom

• event organization and shared event costs

• basic refreshments during the milongas, such as water, juice, coffee/tea, and light snacks

The participation fee does not include:
 

• accommodation

• travel to and from the area

• optional meals

• local transportation for participants staying off-site

Your place will be secured after the participation fee has been received.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be arranged through a combination of nearby guesthouses, hotels, holiday apartments, and selected local rooms.

Because Milonga Europa is a small invitation-only event, detailed accommodation information will be provided after registration or confirmation.

In the registration form, participants will be asked to indicate their accommodation preference, such as:
 

• single room

• double room with partner or friend

• willingness to share a room with another participant

Single-room availability is limited. Room allocation will depend on availability, registration order, couples, and sharing preferences.

Participants may be asked to book their rooms directly with the accommodation provider using information provided by the organizers.

Meals

Meal options will be offered during registration.

Because the venue is located in the countryside, grocery stores and restaurants are not easily accessible on foot. For this reason, simple shared meals will be arranged at the venue for participants who wish to join.

Participants staying in hotels may also choose to have breakfast or other meals at their accommodation.

The current estimated meal plan is:
 

• Breakfast: simple self-service breakfast — approx. €8

• Lunch: light lunch — approx. €10

• Friday dinner: catered dinner — TBA

• Saturday dinner: catered dinner — TBA

• Sunday dinner: pizza or simple closing meal — approx. €10

Final meal choices, prices, and dietary options will be confirmed after registration.

Travel and Local Transportation

The nearest train station is Kitzingen. Participants arriving by train will be able to use the event transportation system from Kitzingen station.

Because the venue is located in the countryside, walking between the venue and nearby accommodation is not recommended, especially at night. Local transportation will therefore be arranged for participants who stay off-site.

Participants who use the event transportation system will pay a simple daily transportation fee. The current plan is €10 per person per day for local rides between accommodation, venue, and Kitzingen station on that day.

Detailed transportation instructions and communication arrangements will be provided to confirmed participants.

Important

Each participant should complete a separate registration form.

Couples or friends who wish to share a room should indicate this in the form.

Cancellation and refund conditions will be provided before payment is requested.
